Pair of fossilized fern fronds, Pecopteris sp. Pennsylvanian, from Vigo County, Indiana. These fossils are from plants that flourished over 300 million years ago.  Pecopteris first appeared in the Devonian period, but flourished in the Carboniferous, especially the Pennsylvanian period.

Photos show the front and back of the pieces.  This is a pair & there are several different pairs available. As with many of my items the scale is in metric.
photo shows the slab on a scale with 1cm =10mm per square.
